A Yorkshire based couple cloned their dog for dealing with the loss of their beloved friend and companion Dylan.
Laura and Richard’s dog Dylan died on June 30, 2015
They wanted to preserve his memory in some way
Inspired by another UK family, they decided to clone the dog
A UK family had cloned their dog and he was still alive. Laura and Richard got their idea and contacted Sooam Biotech. They suggested to freeze few cells of Dylan before cloning.
Laura and Richard sent Dylan’s DNA samples to Sooam Biotech Lab in South Korea
The parcel arrived late at the lab and there were some issues with the cells growing
However, the cells began to grow after few weeks
Sooam Biotech confirmed TWO pregnancies after 31 days
Laura and Richard went to South Korea for their birth
The puppies look like Dylan!
