Devil's Den In Florida Gives You A Real Experience Of Scuba Diving

Do you want to experience scuba diving and snorkeling but are scared of trying? Then definitely you will love the Devil’s Den in Florida.  Devil’s Den is primarily a scuba diving destination where divers get through an underground spring inside a dry cave. It is an underground hollow in the shape of a mushroom cap with a hole in the top to the outside. Inside this mushroom, you can see the clear Florida Spring.

Located near Williston Florida, Devil’s Den allows comfortable diving in summer and winter. On shivering winters you can notice smoke rising from the cave’s chimney and this is the major reason why the place is called as Devil’s Den. It is set up as a location that represents a unique look at the amazing background cave networks in Florida.

The water in the den remains constant at 22 degree Celsius throughout. Initially, the opening to the den was a small hole, through which divers had to squeeze to reach the water. It was enlarged in the 1990’s to ease access. The Devil’s Den expands below water level up to 200 feet. The cave became open for the public in the early 1990’s. The hidden spring of Devil’s Den is very old and now made into the scuba diving destination, the surrounding areas feature campground and other luxury amenities.
