The device was first introduced on 18 March 2014, and the team stated that Project Morpheus was "the next innovation from PlayStation that will [shape] the future of games."

It was in 2015 when the team announced that Project Morpheus was recognized (officially) as PlayStation VR. In 2016, Sony released the device with different prices in different countries. PlayStation VR Setup and Games

In the box, you will get a processor unit, instruction manual, a demo disc, power cables, and PlayStation VR headset. The setup process takes around 30 minutes. The processing unit helps in carrying out the object-based 3-D audio processing. It also displays a social screen, but at a lower resolution and frame rate.

The annoying thing about its processing unit is it requires a dedicated power supply. Also, it has several cables; and managing them every time you pack and unpack the device is not easy. Its look is awesome, but sometimes cables dangling at the place don’t look great.

It doesn’t need drivers to update and no graphic options to tweak. It needs a software update, but that is optional. You can play numerous PS VR games on the device.

You might not find PS VR good for puzzle games, but games like SuperHyperCube delivers a great experience. The game itself is challenging and turns exciting when played in PS VR.

Final Words

The PS VR looks expensive, but it a great model to have on your shelf. If you are new in the gaming zone, you should buy this device to have some amazing gaming experience.

At the beginning of 2017, PS VR had sold over 900,000 units. The sales of VR are beyond expectations. Till December 2017, the devices sold were over 1 million. During 2018, SONY sold over 20 million games worldwide.

Compared to other headsets in the market, this requires only PS4. It is one of the best VR headsets that you can buy to play games. PS VR is comfortable to wear. Overall, the device is amazing and delivers a greatly enjoyable experience.
