Some Interesting Facts About Michael Jackson 

1. Michael Jackson was considered creative, shy, and best dressed, but at the same time, he was an average student, who was bad with spelling and grammar.
2. Michael Jackson was abused by his father as he was strict. He abused him both physically (beating) and emotionally. 
3. He later explained that his insecurities about his looks, nightmares, insomnia, hyper-compliant behavior, and his childlike adulthood are due to child maltreatment, but he also believed that his father's strict discipline helped him succeed.
4. He loved children and the black band that he wore was a reminder of child abuse.

Controversies

1. In the year 1993, he was charged with child sexual abuse. However, no charges were pressed against him, and that case was settled out of court only.
2. But again in 2005, he was accused of the same cause, in addition to several other charges. 
3. He canceled his number of concerts and was also sued by one of his event organizers Marcel Avram for canceling his Munich concert in the year 1999. However, he was also his friend. So after Michael reciprocated the charges on him, they both mutually reached an agreement.
4. MJ's death also invigorated a lot of controversy as his family thinks he was murdered as the doctor Conrad Murray prescribed the drugs to Michael. But LaToya Jackson, her sister, claims that he was just a scapegoat.
