Some Interesting Facts About Lalu Prasad Yadav

1. He worked as a clerk after his graduation from Bihar Veterinary College in Patna.
2. He was elected as the President of Student Union, Patna University in 1973.
3. Lalu Prasad joined the JO movement in Bihar during the emergency and was jailed.
4. He was the youngest member of the parliament of his times. He was only 29 years old when he got elected to the Lower House in 1977.
5. While most of the people consider him less educated, Lalu did his MA in Political Science, and then also pursued LLB.
6. He has also appeared as a guest role in the film Padmashree Lalu Prasad Yadav.
7. He says that he doesn't know his DOB and follows the date printed in his educational documents.
8. His wife's name is Rabri Devi, and his sister-in-law's names are Rasgulla, Jalebi, and Paan.
9. He did arrange marriage and married Rabri Devi on 1st June 1973. He has nine children: two sons and seven daughters.
10. He lost a parliamentary seat on being arrested in the fodder scam. The Supreme Court banned him from holding the position.
