1. Smriti Irani, born in Delhi, is the youngest person on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet. After Class 11th, she dropped out of Holy Child Auxilium School.

2. She started her journey as a helper at McDonald's, as Smriti had struggled a lot in her life. Then, she only wanted to move to the next level of welcoming diners, as she once said in an interview.

3. She also participated in Miss India beauty pageant and became one of the finalists in the year 1998.

4. Gaining popularity by Ekta Kapoor’s production Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus, she made her debut on television with Aatish and Hum Hain Kal Aaj Aur Kal in 2000.

5. Further, in the year 2009, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and later she became vice-president of the Maharashtra Youth Wing in 2004.
