Madame Tussauds museum is known around the world for creating the best look-alike wax statues of famous personalities. But sometimes hard work doesn’t pay off and results in worst creations.
Indeed! Celebs do several things, including gymming, dieting, training, follow nutritionists, and do more to maintain a beautiful look that could be featured on journals and TV. Celebs are followed by millions of people around the globe for several reasons. They are followed for their luxurious lifestyle and the motivational spirit. Sometimes, the best way to recognize these great personalities is by creating their wax statues.
It takes thousands of hours to create a wax figure. It takes energy, time, and everything to create a statue that should look like a real celeb. Madame Tussauds is spread in over 20 locations around the world and has tons of celebrity models. While some of the statues turn out beautiful and look like the replica of the famous personalities, others show incorrect face measures and look completely botched.
You would be surprised to know that to create a single portrait, it takes six months, over 2500lbs wax, and nearly $40,000 to make a beautiful figure. Right from Indian PM Narendra Modi to Harry Potter fame Daniel Redcliff, several personalities have gotten wax figures in Madame Tussauds.
Let’s check out a few Madame Tussauds creations that turned out wrong and hilarious.
A few days before Julia Robert won an Oscar for her role in Erin Brockovich, a wax statue of her was created at the museum to capture this moment forever.
Unfortunately, her wax statue looked like an aged one and didn’t resemble her personality. Earlier, she was known for her curly hairs, but during the Oscars, she came with sleek hairs.
She is one of the most recognizable personalities in the world, but her wax figure in the museum is hardly identifiable. The statue has a weird outfit, awkward shiny boobs, and cringy face measures.
Her first statue was unveiled in 2004 after her blockbuster album, ‘Dangerously in Love,’ was released. It was supposed to resemble Beyonce’s look in the music but came out to be her disastrous statues in the museum.
She doesn’t look at all like Miley Cyrus. This hilarious work of Miley Cyrus statue was unveiled in 2010 at the Museo de Cera in Madrid, Spain.
I bet you must have watched this picture twice. It was a wrong attempt to make Miley Cyrus look more beautiful.
OMG! This looks horrifying. This terrible wax statue of Britney Spears was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas. This Britney Spears figure looks outdated and does not resemble the real one.
Zac Efron, who garnered attention after High School Musical, never visited Madame Tussauds to see his wax statue. His most prized possession is autographed baseball. You can see a baseball in his wax statue, but this figure needs an improvement.
Selena Gomez, who is a well-known personality, has three wax figures at Madame Tussauds at different locations. One of her statues unveils her beautiful figure standing with her hand on her hip and hair loose and wavy. She wore a white top and black shorts, and the wax figure is accessorized with a gold chain necklace.
Another wax statue unveiled Selena Gomez as a person who loves eating (lol). She looks extremely fat in this wax figure.
This wax figure of Ariana Grande was not warmly welcomed by the audience as they claimed it to be nowhere similar to Ariana Grande. What are your thoughts on it?
Michael Jackson, who was a great multitalented personality and has inspired several individuals to not give up in their lives, deserves to have an iconic statue at the wax museum. But this seems that creators have designed a figure of Michale Jackson more like a mannequin.
Do you know Michale Jackson has won over 23 American Music Awards and has sold 750 million albums in his career?
Wax statue creators struggled a lot in making Barack Obama figure but miserably failed.
Don’t he look skinny in this wax figure?
Don’t you think- not everyone deserves to have a wax statue of themselves or say not every wax figure turns out to be impressive? Madame Tussauds is one of the top tourist attractions in the world that welcomes millions of people annually. It is known for creating amazing wax figures of famous personalities. But do you know this attraction has also suffered a bomb blast? During WWII, the bomb blast damaged over 350 head molds.
Have you ever visited Madame Tussauds museum in any location? What do you think- who are the other stars that deserve an iconic wax figure in the Madame Tussauds museum? Drop your comments.
